  1. Love, love, love latkes! Especially the sweet potato ones. Had some at a friend’s house last night, but haven’t made my own this year yet.

    I would never trust Martha Stewart with the latkes recipe. It’s gotta come from a Jewish grandmother or at least someone who has/had one and learned from her.
    And latkes should never be frozen or even reheated. They should be fried right before eating and consumed with apple sauce on top.
    Regular potato, sweet potato and zucchini latkes are popular at my house.
