Hot off the Press: Martha Stewart’s Cooking School: Lessons and Recipes for the Home Cook

We were lucky enough to get our hands on a press copy of the queen of all things domestic’s new book, Martha Stewart’s Cooking School; Lessons and Recipes for the Home Cook a couple of weeks ago and are delighted to report that it is incredible.  New cook or old, this book is the new resource on all things in the kitchen!  From reminding us the proper way to braise meat (see page 183) to teaching us how to sharpen your knives (page 13) this essential kitchen book is designed to teach you how to cook, not what to cook.  Organized by technique with over 200 recipes and 500 color photos, it’s not only good reading, but meant to get dirty in the kitchen as you reference it regularly!

So add it to your cookbook wish list or run out and buy it now.  Either way, once it’s in your kitchen, we think you’ll be referencing it as regularly as you pull out a kitchen knife!
