Tip of the Day: Easiest way to blanch your veggies!

In case you’re out of the loop, blanching vegetables leaves them crisp and flavorful, but most importantly it’s also the best ways to assure you aren’t losing any healthy nutrients while cooking!

Here’s a quicker and easier way to blanch all types of vegetables.

1) Boil, as usual.

2) Prepare large ice bath.

3) Strain vegetables using strainer.

4) Drop strainer directly in bath and leave for one minute.

5) Lift, season, and enjoy!
