I love summer and though I hate to see it end, I love the crisp fall leaves that cover the old cobblestone sidewalks of Georgetown when the weather turns colder.
So as a last adieu to summer, I am calling for one last batch of my White Sangria (which is a great use of the end of summer peaches!).
1/4 cup peach liquor
3 tbsp sugar
4 firm/ripe peaches
1 cup raspberries
1 750ml bottle white wine (Sauv. Blanc/Pinot Grigio is best)
1 1/2 cups club soda
In a large bowl, combine liquor and sugar – stir to dissolve.
Add fruit and wine to mixture, stir.
Just before serving, add club soda.
