Most Incredible Brownies EVER!
10 oz. bittersweet chocolate, chopped
1 stick unsalted butter
1 ½ cups sugar
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
¾ cup flour
½ tsp. salt
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch baking pan then line with parchment paper.
Place chocolate and butter in a bowl over a pot of simmering water (bowl should not be touching water). Stir frequently until chocolate has melted and is smooth. Remove bowl from heat and cool to room temp.
Once chocolate mixture is cool, mix in sugar and then eggs, one at a time. Whisk until smooth. Add vanilla. Gently mix in flour and salt.
Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake about 40-45 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out almost clean. Let cool completely.
Using parchment, lift brownies out of pan and serve within the next 48 hours. Store in an air-tight container.
