With some fruits and vegetables it’s more important to buy organic than with others. Due to different growing climates, the amount of pesticide residue present varies greatly across the produce section.
According to The Environmental Working Group, a non-profit research organization here in DC, here are the fruits and vegetables with the most exposure to pesticides that you should spend the extra on to get organic.

1. Strawberries
2. Bell Peppers
3. Spinach
4. Cherries
5. Peaches
6. Cantaloupe
7. Celery
8. Apples
9. Apricots
10. Green beans
